The guy seems to have no shame. He will continue to show up to collect his 23 million dollars while solidifying his position as the worst ML baseball player of all time. Perhaps he is looking to buy a small third world country in retirement

Well, I would guess most of us would continue to show up for a 23 million per year job if the only requirement was showing up.

I keep seeing people say we have a "boom or bust" offense. I think that is a very generous description of the offense. I haven't seen them truly go "boom" once this season.

The most runs they've scored in any game is 7.

Baseball is a boom or bust offense now.  The league's hitting .230 and striking out 24% of the time, nobody is building their run scoring on sequential events.  You just hope someone was on base the couple innings someone goes deep.

And the Orioles, with no one on the roster guaranteed to have a 100 OPS+, bust more often than most.

To me.. a "boom" would mean putting up lots of runs in a hurry. I honestly don't think the O's are capable of doing that... unless we face a pitcher who pulls an Ubaldo and absolutely craps himself on the mound.
