He's had some good years, some not so good years.  Turns 34 tomorrow.

I'm assuming this is a non roster invitee for spring training and will see some time in Baltimore when a reliever goes down.

I like the signing though. Low risk and he could provide a nice veteran pressence for our young pitchers.

On a more serious note, this is the kind of signings I expect this winter. No real risk. Not a ton of gain, but someone who might be able to provide a bit of veteran stability in the pen and/or turn into a trade chip for another lottery ticket come July.

His stats show 40-50 IP up to 2017, zero in 2018, 13 in 2019, zero this year. Injured? Just out of MLB? Just wondering. I have no problem with it. Probably dirt cheap.

You're right, I just looked at his latest season age, didn't bother to notice that it was 2019.  He didn't play in the majors this year.

Signed with the Nats last offseason.   Had Covid in July, was released.   Signed a minor league deal with the Yankees and never pitched in the majors this year.

This lefthander intentionally threw two consecutive pin-straight fastballs directly at Manny's newly surgically repaired knee,  prompting the infamous bat flip.
