True. Ortiz is almost 1 yr older than Prieto. Prospects get passed over if they don’t perform. What next we can’t promote him to AAA because of Grenier and Martin?

Ortiz is slashing .286/.390/.543 in May.  I'd say he's gotten things going and shouldn't go anywhere.

I'd be fine with Prieto jumping up to AAA.  I didn't expect all that much from him and have been very pleasantly surprised.

Prieto had no business being in Aberdeen to start anyway.  Certainly shouldn’t be there now.

Yeah, you're probably right here. He did miss a few games and it's only been 11 games, but he has started to hit a bit. Either way, they need to find a place for Prieto at a higher level but with Norby out and Bowie full, they may just decide to keep him there for a bit more.

No, oddly enough. There were no promotions out of Bowie. He was the only promotion to Bowie.
