The lineup is loaded with righthanders to face a lefty.

Do you REALLY think the reason LH hitters like Mullins and Henderson are out is just rest?   With Rutschman it's a combination, he caught both games of the series so far,  and the fact is that he hasn't batted as well vs LHPs as RHPs.

Every time we face a lefty and a bunch of LH batters aren't in the lineup, there are all these comments about how horrible the lineup is, that doesn't even factor in the fact that the opponent is throwing a lefty.   It's almost like people don't even know we are facing a lefty or something.

Earlier on the radio broadcast, Ms. Newman said, “We might as well be at the Trop right now” referencing the white sky. 

WTF? Comparing OPACY to the Trop in any way shape matter or form should be illegal. Strong misdemeanor.

Earl was so right about bunting, there are so many things that can go wrong, it is rarely worth it.

Edited to add that I didn't mind the attempt here as there were no outs and two runners would advance, it was the horrible execution. Just hard to watch when the offense is struggling like it is.

Playing your worst hitters just because the other team is throwing a left hander sounds like a bad idea.

Another announcer favorite recently in addition to the "______ has it all working today" to rationalize a bad pitcher dominating, is "Well this pitcher has been really hot lately, and even though the overall numbers dont look great, the last few starts he's really been figuring it out"
