No Severino for Yankees today

I guess they don't want him going in the inclement weather.   They are starting Chi Chi Gonzalez, who has been released by 4 teams in the past year and has negative career war.

Probably a smart move by them to ensure a normal start for Severino in his final tuneup. Hopefully we benefit if the game is played. 

Am I right that home team has the cancellation power until the game begins, then it goes to the umpires? I'm sure the Yankees will want to give Judge one more chance at 62 at home but the forecast looks really rough. Maybe they have a chance if they wait til 7 or 8.

I thought the last game, series the league has the power. Not 100% sure.

On my way to my brother-in-law’s place to watch the Ravens, while I “Homer Simpson” the O’s on the radio, weather permitting!

I doubt they get the game in. Supposedly an 80% chance rain straight through to the early evening, combined with the Yankees having to fly to Texas later today. IMO if there wasn’t a Judge factor involved it would have already been called.

I want two more wins 83-79 has a nice ring up it.   84-78 would be icing on the cake at this point.  Would be nice to finish with a little flurry.
