As bad as Gillaspie looked, bottom line is that our low-end bullpen guys wound up giving up just 1 run in 5.1 innings tonight.

Showtime is a bad, bad man. Love the way he plays the game. With that said, the boys still in it. They make it a tough out for any team in the MLB. Bottom 9th will be no different.

Needlessly hitting Ohtani in the head would rightfully kill all of that.

Why would anyone ever suggest intentionally throwing near a player's head?

Oh, he definitely has his good runs.  But overall his OBP this year is toward the bottom of the league, which I think even for him is a bit surprising.

Certainly not arguing. Just responding to note that he's worthless. I was actually surprised he had that run when I looked it up.

He might end up being the greatest player of his generation and the best thing to happen to baseball in a long time (when he's not playing he Orioles).  I'm just happy and kind of amazed we hit three home runs off him.
