Can’t wait to watch Grayson smiling spitting water out of his mouth tomorrow night without a care in the world. He’s embarrassing

Should he be curled up on the bench in the fetal position?  Flogging himself while wearing a hair shirt?

Or supporting his teammates?

Especially the fastball. It's surprising how hard his 97-99 MPH fastball gets hit.

It’s very odd.  It doesn’t seem that straight either.  Maybe his development path becomes similar to Kopech who also had monster stuff but just now is finding himself.

I don't know what's worse, the fact Rodriguez can never seem to stem the bad tide, the little league defense they are playing behind him, or the incessant question asking by Melanie Newman of Jim Palmer.

Good grief, this is one game I'm happy to not see.

He was almost a lock to make the rotatation in ST, but was so unbelievable bad he lost his spot.  His 1st minor league start wasn't very good, but was called up because Irvin was a disaster.

He needs to go down to the minors to clear his head and get back to doing what made him so good last year before the injury, because right now he is not cutting it.

He is not the same pitcher as he was before the injury.  He just isn’t.  Dizzy Dean was the best pitcher in baseball till he got hit in the toe with a line drive .. he came back but he was never any good.

Hypothetically- who gets Grayson’s spot in the rotation?
Baumann looks like he’s found a role in the bullpen?

Do they go back to Voth?

I would guess Cole Irvin.  He’s pitched decently at AAA (5-1 in 6 starts, 36 innings, and 3.25 era, 1.08 WHIP).  Plus, he’s an experienced big league starter that we traded for and he’s a lefty.

If., if... he can't be that same guy, then he needs to reinvent himself, which also would = going to AAA.
