I get that Elias is obsessed with left handed batters but it seems to me that if anyone wanted to neutralize our offense in key postseason spots they’d use lefties in high leverage situations. Or start a lefty in a deciding game.

Ideally you use just one of Bautista & Cano tonight and one tomorrow.  With the off day Friday they would each have just pitched once in 4 days after the stretch of 4 stressful appearances in 5 days that included pitching in multiple innings at least once for both guys.

Gotta admit, that was a quality Manager's move bringing in that lefty there to face Cowser. I don't like the result, but I totally get it and would approve if our Manager did such a move against them.

That was just another reminder that hitters don't get to see that talent level of left handed pitchers in the minor leagues. All those pitchers are already in the Big Leagues.

More important is the offense's inability to push more runs across.
