Ortiz needs be up soon.  There's no way he is as bad as Mateo.  Mateo can't hit or field at this point.  And the spike robs him of some of his speed.  There is no reason to keep Mateo at this point.  He's a negative.  I thank him for his time but it should be over.

Trying to win two one run games without Bautista is pretty impossible with this bullpen.

Cano is done as a closer/8th inning guy. They've figured him out. He can stop posing like he's some dominant weapon when batters are teeing off on him. Embrrassing.

As for Mateo, something needs to be done. Trade him for a c-level prospect and move on.
