Funny thing ifs the pitching is looking better. Fuji looks good.  Gibson had a nice outing.  I am concerned how little Cano has pitched of late. Tough for him to stay sharp.  I think that will come to bite them in this next series.

I know you can’t risk leaving Mullins bat on the bench there but I would of liked to see Westy get his AB there and pinch hit Mullins for Hicks

That is why spending money for FA's is better than trades. Trading the wrong players can kill a franchise.

You have to take a chance with Mullins hitting left handed with the short porch.

We need to do something with him. He needs to step up. We don’t need him to be some light hitting on base guy. He needs to be more than that.

I feel good with Gunnar up there. I just don’t feel that way about Adley, not this year. It’s not that he won’t have a good at bat but I just don’t trust him to come up big in big moments. 
 

They need to get him out of the lead off spot.
