Would Mayo be able to develop into a better defensive RF than Kjerstad?  That arm would certainly play nicely in RF, but hard to know since he hasn't played any OF yet.  I wonder if they've had Mayo take fly balls before games or in Spring Training.

His home runs go so far typically that Walltimore should not affect him unless it somehow gets in his head like it did with Mountcastle. Personally I think Mayo is very mentally tough and has shown an above average knowledge of what pitchers are trying to do to him and then make adjustments.

While Mayo easily has the power to clear the Wall, he’s going to lose some homers out there just like anyone else.  But my sense is that he became more of an all-fields hitter in 2023 compared to 2021-22.   I’m not worried about it.
