What Will The McKenna Move Be? DFA or Trade?

Elias has a few hours to make a move since it looks like we’re getting this game in. 

I dont think McKenna will clear waivers. Elias could strike a deal with an NL team, or non competitor AL team.

He's gonna get DFAed, claimed by the A's and lead them to the WS title in 2025. Then there will be 100s of people here posting that they knew he was going to be a HOFer.

DFA, with a slim chance to be traded for cash considerations.   Overall he's not very good,  but some team may take a flyer on him,  depending on their OF depth.

Godspeed Mac. It’ll be a tough day for Hyder, parting ways with his main squeeze. If only he was left handed….

I think 65/35 he makes it through.  I can’t see Oakland claiming him and optioning Esteury Ruiz.

I think "good enough" is more important than "young enough."  If he makes any team better, I can't see it being more than a bench player...and not many bench players stick around a long time unless they have a very desirable skill that teams must have.  I don't see it here, unfortunately.

If he goes to Norfolk, how the heck does he even get playing time IF the Orioles are somewhat serious about seeing what Norby or Mayo can do in the outfield, plus Stowers, Kjerstad and whatever other upside center fielders they decide to keep down there?

The McKenna hate from this fan base really boggles my mind and this is from someone who always felt his prospect status was overrated.

I would much rather have him on the team vs Nevin or Kemp.
