That makes sense.  I hated in the past when he was struggling and obviously injured and he was allowed to play injured and miss several games at a time but never go on the IL.

My comments are from some plays I'm thinking of from memory... Off the top of my head I'm thinking of a play where a chopper was headed right at him and he swiped at it and completely missed the ball. There was another where he dropped the ball in the dirt, the runner was safe, but he was never charged an error for such plays. I still consider those mistakes even though the scoring officials were generous/conservative in their judgement due to it not being overwhelming evidence of an error, but still not very good fielding in my opinion.

I still think we needed a righty bat.  We have Urias batting 5th tonight.  His statcast data is depressing this year.  Jackson Holliday has hit the ball much harder then Ramon this year and he’s 1-30.

Ramon has looked much better the last week or so.

We could see a line-up today with Gunnar, Adley, Westy, Milkman, Holliday and Kjerstad.  That would be a lot of fun.  (Then prob O'Hearn Mullins and Santander).

Ramon is fine as a bench bat and he can help anywhere on defense and we will get Hays back. When rosters expand we can bring up one of Norby and Mayo to pinch hit for O'Hearn.
