Ramon Urias is blocking Mayo.    They aren’t getting rid of Mountcastle (1B), O’Hearn (DH), or Santander (RF).   There’s only one path in 2024 for Mayo.  3B.   Just do it.

I feel bad for him because everyone knows he belongs in the majors.

As many have alluded to, it is simply incredible that Ramon Urias is here and getting AB's while Mayo destroys AAA.  Defense is a factor that often gets overlooked, especially when looking at such amazing stats.  However, based on Elias' comments it seems the O's have grown comfortable enough with Mayo that they expect him to at least be about average there.  What's the holdup?

From what i can remember.

When Elias says something about a top prospect like "he is very close to ready" or  "he will get a chance real soon at this rate"  I think that typically means a promotion is coming within a couple of weeks at most.

I think Mayo could be up before the ASB.    Guess we will see.

If they put Urias on waivers I they’d be able to force a trade.  Do it.

If they DFA Urias, I have no doubt they could trade him but Urias isn’t the only one taking at bats away from him.
