Another guy who could be a major leaguer. It's popular to say we have no positional prospects except Reimold, but that's not a really fair characterization.

I don't see how Montanez or Reimold can make the team if they keep only 3 bench players. Freel's got a 4 mill contract and is a lock, a back-up for Zaun and a shortstop (unless Freel plays short and he hasn't looked too good there). And even if Montanez does stay, he won't play much.

But I'm afraid they'll lose him to a waiver claim if they try to send him down; he's looked good this spring.
