I thought it would be cool to begin a thread posting some fun facts about the O's.

Fun Fact: The O's have played in the 2nd fewest games (42) in the majors this season.  Atlanta has played one fewer, the Yankees have played four more, and the Dodgers, A's, and Padres have played the most (47).

The Orioles haven’t been swept in 106 consecutive regular season series.

We will make up for that with only 2 days off in the next 6 weeks.

Yes.  I don’t consider that fact fun.  It annoys me when a team has a period with a bunch of off days followed by a period where they’re just playing relentlessly.  The off days should be spaced more evenly.

Dylan Beavers has 286 PA, 240 AB,   313/412/479/891 at AA over two seasons which a year ago would have been good enough to get a promotion to AAA.    But with Kjerstad,  Norby,Vavra and maybe McKenna at AAA he has not been promoted so far.

Personally, im a big fan of the sweep streak. 
 

The idea that they don’t get into these lulls and have long losing streaks is a good thing.

The Orioles have given up 35 steals and only caught 7 which isn’t great until you look at the Mets who have given up 62 steals and caught 4!

Last year Enrique Bradfield had 23 hits of which only 3 went for extra bases.   So far this year he has 21 hits of which 9 have gone for extra bases.
