I don’t mind the bunt idea, specifically because McCann up next is a major double play risk if it stays 1st and 2nd. But not a good sac attempt by Jorge.

Mateo bunting fundamentals are atrocious. It’s unbelievable the team hasn’t coached him up since last 2-3 attempts this year.

I also think bunting in the 4th inning, 2 on, no outs, is dumb af. He definitely did it on his own.

And it took like 4 pitches to go from 2 on noone out to out of the inning with no damage.  As I'm typing this there goes a 2 out HR for Philly.

Yeah he is horrible at it.  Which is weird.  He should of been forced to take extra bunting practice since he was 13.  Just to cash in on his speed.  

But maybe he is like Shak O'Neil.  And cant hit a free throw.
