He's fine, but he's awfully whiny. Just seems like a typical Yankee entitled player. Got all needlessly bent out of shape and tried hard to stare down Suarez on the HBP when it was clear it was unintentional, then continued to put on a show while standing at 1B cursing to himself, etc. Complains at the ump a lot. I'm personally not a fan, but it's true that he probably isn't a bad guy. And obviously an insanely good player. -

Right he has been fine. If we didn’t have him, we wouldn’t tell the difference, just like 2023. He’s nothing special. A mid 3s ERA reliever in this era isn’t that big of a deal. -

Tate has been fine and I think Hendricks would be fine but not much better than what we have. -
I’m not a huge Tate guy but he has a 3.64 ERA since 2020. This year he has a 3.62 ERA, 3.65 xERA, and 3.99 SIERA. His track record has been pretty good and I think he’s perfectly fine as one of the first 2 options out of the pen right now.
