Friday weather

We’re coming into town Thursday for the last Cubs game and the Friday and Saturday Yankee games.  Friday weather looks like crap all day and night.  If it’s rained out, best guess at when they’d make up that game?  Seems like a Saturday DH makes sense but I’m biased and would hope for that.   I think it’s the Yankees final trip to town and if so, DH more likely, hopefully just not Sunday.

Yeah, I'm going Friday too and keeping an eye on the forecast too.   Looks like a bit more than just the typical hot summer day where there might be thunderstorms popping up here and there.

Extended forecasts in Maryland are a fool's errand.

Maybe try and trade your tickets to a section that is covered by the second deck?  Rain delays are tough at the stadium because there isn’t much seating in the concourse area. Also, I suggest bringing some pre-packaged food/drinks that the policy allows so you don’t spend an arm and a leg.

Assume it’s the remnants of the hurricane for it to be all day and night like that.  If so, maybe it’ll get pushed through faster.  Friday night looks slightly better now but still rain.

 

Saturday looks perfect and Thursday still ok.

Two more questions for the locals.  Is the casino walking distance to the stadium and good places to hang out and drink before the game?  We are staying at he Renessaince Inner Harbor which looks walkable.   Thanks!

Casino is definitely walkable, there will be a pretty good crowd heading toward/from Lot H/M8 Beer/Top Golf or Lot O/Checkerspot Brewing depending on which route you take. I’d rather take it during the day time in general, but it isn’t too bad.

To add on to my post above, if you’re looking for walking distance and want to check out breweries Checkerspot and Pickett are good options, Wico and M8 also in same vicinity. 
If you want to be closer to the Harbor Pratt St Ale House is a good bet and if you wanna party check out the Pickles area.
