Isn't it a bit unusual to have only one top 10 pick signed two weeks after the draft?

With our batch? The only minor surprise would be Townsend not signing. We have a good number of JuCos and High Schoolers. They typically take longer to sign because they can always threaten to go to school.

I totally agree and I am a bit worried as well. It seems that unlike last year there are many draft picks that will be a tough sign due to money and going to college issues.

According to Melewski, looks like we can add 14th rounder David Baker and 23rd Rounder Michael Mooney to the signees. He lists some others we already know about.

Anyone have any info on Baker? He's a HS kid...wondering about his potential.

Not much, but he's what was found on draft day:

Dalles will start at Aberdeen. Unless you know something no one else does, Berry and Harris aren't close to signing. :scratchchinhmm:

Thanks. I know they're not signed yet, but I'm wondering if you have any ideas where they will start if/when they do sign. Plus, I figure there is a decent chance they'll sign since they're college guys and not HS kids.

My take -- Harris is an eligible sophomore sign, so he has lots of leverage and could be tough (particularly if he thinks he cam get Top 100 money next year). Berry dropped primarily due to injury questions and will likely want Top 100 money, which is where he would likely have fit in from a talent perspective had he not missed three weeks.

You are making a very big assumption.

Check out the in depth discussions on both players here:

On Berry:

On Harris:

I would say neither are a sure thing.

For argument's sake it they both signed I would think Harris would report to Aberdeen and more than likely Berry would be shut down for the remainder or the season.

Didn't realize Harris was a sophomore. Thanks guys.
