I find the playing of God Bless America in the 7th inning stretch to be insulting to my intelligence. I'm an American and I love my country. I'm glad to recognize our National Anthem before the game as it is a chance to show respect for the sacrifice that so many have given and are giving to protect our way of life and our core beliefs. But the second time around is so arbitrary and forced patriotism it makes me sick. Imagine going to the theatre and having two political anthems played, one before the play and one at intermission. We're accustomed to it in baseball so it doesn't seem so bizarre, but it really is. So when I heard Delgado was blowing off God Bless America, I couldn't have cared less. He's not even American! How pompous is it for us to be insulted that a foreign player doesn't choose to honor two daily doses of our country's self recognition. If a player won't honor our National Anthem, for all they are profiting and the opportunity they are getting from our country, I say deport the bum...NOW. Second time around, he can sit in the dugout and scratch himself.....I could care less.

So make up your mind...Could you care less?! ;)

Delgado has had his hip flare up twice in three years...last year he was down for all but 28 games. His body is clearly breaking down.Im not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but you can see this is NOT a good situation for a multi year deal..at any cost.

You should play one on TV.

I had the best steak of my life from Ruth's Chris, but most of the time it's just good.

Personally I actually prefer Outback. The steak isn't quite as good - though it's fine - but the sides are actually better than Ruth's Chris and the price is obviously much better. Plus, I'm not much of a wine guy. I prefer the Fosters Oil Can.

Oh, and Delgado was not at Ruth's Chris last night. He was in my living room watching a DVR of Alladin with me, my wife and our two year old. Well, I think that was him. I had a couple of Oil Cans in me at the time.

If we talk about Delgado watching porn, will we get some ads for porn sites?

Even though we have Ruth's Chris down here in Sarasota and Tampa I am getting Bonefish grill ads. Guess Google knows I don't like to drive.
