Until tonight I have never seen a relief pitcher lose two games while pitching to only one batter. It's an amazing game.

Gonzalez is dangerous. He could have ended a guys career. All of MLB needs to pressure the O's to release him now.

From an investment standpoint it's not yet time to release him. From a message standpoint to the rest of the team that everyone is accountable and everyone needs to perform to have a job it's time for him to go. The latter outweighs the former at this point I think.

The talk of releasing him is poor. He entered tonight with 318 career ip, having allowed 250 hits, with 373 k's, and a .646 OPS against. He is a quality arm who has struggled in his 12.2 innings of work this year.

outside of the latter half of last year, he has been horrendous in an O's uniform. Horrendous.
