Gibbons was DFA'd today. He'll likely pass through waivers and accept a minor league assignment.....if offered by the Dodgers. If not, I don't see anyone picking him up, although he still has a semi-decent power bat. This could be the end for Jay.

He'll get a minor league job somewhere, and probably bubble up to the majors once or twice more before he's through.
