Does anyone else think...

I happen to agree with Sean. It has become the norm in baseball, so the Orioles are not doing anything different then the rest of the league. But I think it is forced at this point. This kind of celebration used to be saved until you won a playoff game. I think it is tacky. But maybe im just old school. As for the shaving cream pie in the face.....well I can think of nothing stupider and played out.

This is what I am getting at. They act like they won the World Series. I am glad they won and I'm happy for Reimold, but they are 45-69. If they like to win so much, they should do it more often.

Hmm...Wieters, Hardy, Jones, Vlad, Lee, and Reimold.

I'm counting 6.

Right you are!

May 10: O's beat M's 7-6 in 13 (Wieters walkoff single)

May 12: O's beat M's again 2-1 in 12 (Hardy walkoff single)

May 24: O's beat Royals 5-3 (Jones walkoff HR)

May 26: O's beat Royals again 6-5 in 12 (Guerrero walkoff single)

June 24: O's beat Reds 5-4 in 12 (Lee walkoff HR)

Last night: O's beat White Sox 6-4 in 10 (Reimold walkoff HR)

C'mon, give em a break. If they acted all cool you'd be pissed that they have no emotion and show lack of fire.

I was at the game last night, and I thought it was awesome. Good for them having some fun and still getting excited about the win. I'm glad they haven't turned into a group of emotionless, depressed. bums. I fail to see how feeling sorry for themselves benefits the future of this organization.

I think it's great. Many fans only go to a few games a year, and want to have a good time. If I'm a fan I want to know at the very least that my team really wants to win. If the O's win in exciting fashion, I'm not going to be excited and happy if my team doesn't seem to care. If I can't be excited and happy about a walk-off win, why should I even go to a game--the fact is that the Orioles aren't going to win the World Series this year, so let's celebrate today at least.

Ah, May.....four walkoff wins in 17 days. Seems like a million years ago now.

I would expect to see some celebrating going on. But celebrating like it's Game 7 of the World Series???

We celebrate our walk-off wins just as any other team would. What does it really matter if they celebrate or not? I feel like if there was any less excitement in the clubhouse right now even the Astros would be laughing at us.

All walkoffs are celebrated the same now.

It would be nice to see something new, but I think teams just want to keep the tradition, as long as another Morales incident doesn't happen...

I will say on Vlad's single, it didn't look like he took too kindly to be beaten on his helmet as he still had it on from running to 1B...
