I rather trade with San Diego. If Jones was to go to Tampa that just could strengthen an already strong team that is in our division. Besides San Diego has some solid pitching we could try and get.

If he isn't willing to sign an extension, or wants an extension that is far greater than he is worth, you have to trade him.

Well obviously if the return for any of our players is worth it you do it. Whether it be Jones, Markakis, Matusz, Arrieta, or Wieters, if the return is worth it you make the trade. No player should ever be untradeable, every player has a price tag. Depending on the offer for Jones I think you listen, but I'm not going to say that it would be the smartest decision this team could do without having any idea what is being offered.

I doubt the Rays would want to pay Jones what it will take to extend him. I still think San Diego could be a good fit.

I may be wrong, but I never see AJ out and about in the City during the Offseason and what not... The only time I saw him in Baltimore was during the season at Bo Brooks on the water [outside bar] and he was pretty hammered

I follow him on Twitter and it seems he spends most of his free time up in NYC or back home in CA.
