Hopefully LSU has a different coach than they did when Big Ben pitched for the Tigers. I remember watching him put Ben on the bump every oppotunity he could.

Starting one game and closing the next. He definitely put some wear on that shoulder during that run.

Plus FB/plus CH combo. One of the main reasons I liked his profile. The breaking ball is not yet where it needs to be, but it'll get there when he's forced to use it more as a pro. Throwing mid 90s and changing speeds with plus depth and fade is a great foundation for a starting pitcher.

Not vintage Gausman approach, but the stuff looks okay today.

It should be pointed out that Stony Brook was a number 4 seed in the Coral Gables regional (whereas LSU was ranked 1st and went 3-0 in the Baton Rouge reg.). So this isn't exactly a top tier lineup.
