I wish Bordick would stop saying not a bad pitch. The hitter is looking fastball and the pitch is up in the zone, who cares if it is a little bit away, it was a bad pitch.

Against Kipnis I thought they might just be pitching around him, to walk him unless he swung at something outside of the zone... but nope, that pitch he hit into the stands was definitely not out of the zone. Shame, too, as Swisher's grounder would easily have been a DP.

Masterson is supposed to be anchoring the Boston Red Sox staff at this point. But some real man of genius decided to trade him for something they just had to have. A switch hitting catcher/dh year plus rental. I don't remember them winning anything in 2009. Well they got swept in the ALDS.
