They dropped 14 runs in two games on NY. Sale is a good pitcher, Quintana has done well this year too.

They were set up to make a run and fell on their face once again. They were facing a pitcher who had an era over 5 in their own hitters park and didn't get a guy to 2nd until the 7th inning. Inept and disappointing. Going 1-1 against Sale and Quintanna is fine but losing tonight is proof of this thesis. They were lucky to win one. I don't take joy in being right and I certainly agonize over games like tonight. But it's time to stop making excuses and realize the fact that there is no magic in this team as presently constructed.
