Absolutely. And we should make him a starter. And go with an eight man rotation.

Imagine there are no closers

It isn't hard to dow

No games to save or blow

And no aces too.

Imagine all the pitchers

Pitching when they can!

We could give them Jemile Weeks, and they could pay JJ's salary.

LOL:) good stuff he he

To answer seriously, a clubhouse favorite, definitely interested at reduced rate but would DD trust Buck using him appropriately? That is the better question.

I don't think the deal is that bad for the player when you consider his history with drugs (weed) and alcohol.

It isn't as if he was anything close to a sure fire prospect.

Well hopefully he makes the best of it. His family looked mighty proud of him and Long Beach isn't the greatest place to grow up in.

What a polarizing topic. If we had a pitching coach that he had excelled under here, I might suggest taking a flyer. If the Marlins were in on the trade, that must mean he is close to money free. Because the Marlins wanted to get rid of the value of that pick. Not pay any salary.

I was leading the JJ lynch mob last year but let's think rationally for a second: if there is anywhere that knows JJ, it is here. For a cheap price and assurances from Buck he won't be the closer , then this is a no brainer IMO.
