Trade Manny Tomorrow.  Not Saturday. Tomorrow. And trade Jon the moment he has a hot streak when he comes back.

There are always desperate teams; I believe the O's will get more during the season for Machado than they would have during the off-season. Yes, the time to extend Schoop has most likely passed. Let the semi-rebuild start.

The Yankees are at .500 maybe they could use a Shortstop/Third baseman to right their ship.

It's early, but Manny is on pace for a monster season.  Some team with a hole at SS or 3B will trade for him.

He wasn't pitching today. He did his part.

Manny can do no right in some people’s eyes.   For me, I’m going to enjoy watching him as long as he’s an Oriole.    He’s not perfect, but he’s one helluva player.    I wish we had several more that good.

His numbers play at first base or right field.

Or, as the best hitting pitcher since the late Wes Ferrell.

On the surface, maybe. But IMO, hitting HR’s in blowouts is the baseball equivalent to stat padding.

That’s kind of dumb. What’s he supposed to do, hold back? The Orioles have come back from crazy deficits before. Is he supposed to give up? Then you and or others would call him a quitter.

According to Brian Dozier, the losing team should roll over and die when the other team is winning handily late in the game.

He knew they wouldn’t come back. He also knew the Tigers wouldn’t stop scoring. He should have just stopped playing the second they were behind. Doing otherwise is just selfish.

Lot easier and less pressure hitting HR’s when the game is out of hand and all the pitchers job is to throw strikes. Not saying he shouldn’t try to hit, but late inning HR’s in blowouts aren’t that impressive to me.

Fine.   Manny is hitting .412/.474/.471 in high leverage situations.    He’s also hitting well in medium and low leverage situations.    I’m glad he’s hot and hope he remains so.    He’s about the only player on the team who’s doing anything offensively.
