The first two singles were pure luck on the A's part. 9 times out of 10 those balls are easy outs. They just deflected off the bat at an opportune angle.

The homer was Zach's problem, but there should have been 0 or 1 baserunners for it, in which case, we'd still have a ballgame.

I hate baseball so much. Two out of those three runs weren't even Zach's fault. Nothing he could have done.

They were lucky, but at the same time both pitches were up. If you live up in the zone, "luck" is going to happen, and HRs are going to happen.
