And IF WE DID add Kennedy, and Kennedy had a horrible outing, it would be, "Kennedy is awful, should have kept Gonzalez."

OR.

"Kennedy is awful, should have added (insert pitcher) instead."

Oh no, it wouldn't have to be a bad outing by Kennedy.

It could be a rough inning or two. The bedwetters on this board don't need an entire bad start to start panicking, saying "he doesn't have it today", "get him out of there", "the game is over", etc.

If you have time go through old game threads where one of our pitchers went 6.2 innings and gave up 2 runs. Find the inning they struggled the most and read the posts in that inning, panicking like it was the end of the world. It's comical when you look at hte results.

Yeah, every once in a while they are right...about one out of every five or six games our starter actually does have a poor start, so the fretting and worries turn out to be justified.

But the rest of the time, they wind up fretting and worrying for nothing. And they rarely ever admit they were wrong. And the next game, the starter gives up a lead off walk in the 2nd, and it starts all over again.
