I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but since Manny's return, it seems like he gets twisted up a bit at the plate. I've seen his knees sort of give when he swings really hard. I've seen that quite a bit this year. It made me wonder if he was a) swinging too hard overall and b) if his knees were built up enough to handle the torque.

Has anyone else noticed that?

Agree. He generally doesn't look like he has stable knees.

Anyone notice the slow mo clip they just showed? I apologize I don't have the clip but when he had maximum tension and torque on the knee, just before it gives out, you can actually see what looks like a pop and something snap. You can see it through his pants... If that's what it was. Hoping for the best for him. Doesn't look good.

I saw it when it first happened. They can say it is a sprain, but thetre is no doubt something popped. I will be surprised if he is not gone for the year.

Yes. It's been really noticeable, but I figured it was just me giving undue attention to it.

Having said that, I don't know if all this is pertinent to tonight's injury or if it even means anything at all.

Buck also said he walked the line at the end of the game and into the clubhouse and his office. That is more positive then any words they say.

Reggie Wayne walked off the field last year after he tore his ACL. While Manny walking around can be a good sign, it might not mean much.

You have to wonder if the knee issues will be a career dampening thing for Manny.

Oh c'mon, let's wait until we have a clear picture before we start proclaiming the guy's knees are shot and he's going to have an injury blighted career. It's not too out of the norm to see an injury that looks really bad like that one turn out to be something rather innocuous.

Machado had an XRay done tonight that didn't show any damage to the ligament. But the MRI will be a better indicator of the exact injury.
— Brittany Ghiroli (@Britt_Ghiroli) <a href="

STILL expecting the worst. But that brings me off the ledge, for now. Obviously I know that x-ray results should be taken with a grain of salt compared to the MRI.
