Season on line and that's the best you can do?

And I would be the mortgage that you would have written the same sentence if O'Day came in and got hit - you would have exploded that they took Gausman out, especially since O'Day has been getting hit lately. With all due respect your complaints would have a bit more merit if you didn't just cut and paste the sentences then change the names to fir the situation.

Show me where I've cut and pasted anything dude...don't look like an moron!

Gausman would've entered the game on the following inning....ODay would pitched to the hitter where you needed a double play. He's the GB specialist right?

This is just not happening this year - losing a proverbial must win game with Jeremy Guthrie starting pretty much sums up this series. I mean, Jeremy Guthrie? After the Detroit three? Still a great season and I still really hope that I am made to look like a fool by being so pessimistic about winning four in a row but... Jeremy Guthrie?!?!?

Guthrie does well in KC. Fly ball pitcher pitching a huge park.

Let's face it, the Orioles feasted on the weakest AL East in memory this year. They are an okay team, but not nearly as good as they looked down the stretch. But what is disappointing is not that, it's that this team looked like it gave up today. After being scrappy and resilient all season, they did not fight.

Moron? - yes, you are correct Johnny - thank you for showing me the moronic error of my ways.

I don't know what you think that is that Jones is doing, but if it isn't choking, I don't know what you call it.

How about "slumping"? As he, and nearly every other player in history, has done plenty of times throughout his career?

Why does any postseason slump automatically equal "choking"?

I think this whole notion of "clutch skill" get's misconstrued into choking.

Interesting stat during the TBS broadcast which I find hard to believe. The only team to lead the league in home runs and win a WS was the 2009 Yanks. Can that be true?

The stat they gave was only since 1985, I think. I'm sure there are plenty of Yankee teams (and others) who have managed to do both.

Yea I'm pretty sure Babe Ruth's 60 hr season was more homers than any team hit combined that year.

Poor managing by Buck....Schoop has done nothing, Pearce almost nothing, Go's with KG (who pitched well) when the Os needed a DP instead of O'Day. Young who was hot in the ALDS hasn't seen an AB in 3 games. How does he not bat in place of Pearce?

To add on Adam Jones ...two straight easy outs on 1st pitches in the late innings.

The free swinger thing has worked against them in this series. Moist skis has upped his pitches per innings ...our guys make it look easy for the other

What are you talking about? Pearce was hitting the ball GREAT today.

I'm a big Delmon fan. I want him to play but you want him to play over Pearce? Are you smoking something? Who would play first?

Markakis or Flaherty?

That's laughable.

Jones swinging at the first pitch in the 9th was the RIGHT CALL. The ball was a mistake, right down the middle. Cruz would have hit that mistake out.

Jones' did have a 2 run homer last game.

As for Gausman, I personally don't thave a ton of faith in him but he was great today. You are mad that buck didn't pitch the guy who lost the first two games??

You clearly are someone who hates the result, not the process.

We've lost 2 one run games. Considering our first two SP had an 8 and 10 ERA in this series, that's a testament to the team.
