A judge ordered MLB to disclose Manfred's role in panel that favored the Nats in the MASN dispute.

I don't think the Orioles have a lot of friends in MLB.

How on earth did Davis get TUE?

Careful fellas, this could be a trap.

The following Olney comment came through around noon time yesterday a few hours after the 10 AM post on here earlier.

MLB has pushed for the Orioles to let Dan Duquette go to the Jays; here's how the O's could handle this: http://es.pn/1z3m3UZ Notes/links.

Tonight it comes through in an article by Scott Miller the Padres are going to host the 2016 All Star game. At the winter meetings it was being reported the Orioles would host the 2016 game. If true is mlb getting back at the Orioles for how they are handling the Duquette to Toronto possibility?

Miller reported the following; Padres momentum will continue in other ways, too: 2016 All-Star Game expected to be in Petco Park. Announcement likely in January.

An hour later Miller reported the following details about the Padres and the All Star game in2016;

Matt Kemp says hello to SD as Padres "rock star" GM keeps dealing http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2305715-matt-kemp-says-hello-to-san-diego-as-padres-rock-star-gm-continues-deadling ? @BR_MLB

How do the Orioles trust DD now that the story continues to have legs and Olney didn't just plant this story yesterday to get attention. I guess the Davis and Matusz rumors to San Diego will need to happen for locals to change their mind about DD and whether he is laying low not doing anything major to help the team if he is leaving shortly for Toronto. I think a trade with the Padres will happen with the Orioles. Would they flip Wil Myers? Maybe? His strikeouts are a concern.

He should at least ask the Jays' ownership for a couple of the Jays' best prospects in return for Duquette, who wants to pursue the Jays' CEO job.

If DD truly wants to leave Angelos should ask a ransom and take it.

Peter Angelos is not stupid in spite of what some people may think. Peter knows that the reason the O's have been winning and attendance/revenues have been raising over the last 3 years is the combination of Duquette and Showalter. He is not going to lose either one.

Sometime this spring I believe the O's will restructure their front office. Dan will end up with some kind of President's title and a raise. All this Duquette to the Blue Jays stuff will go away with the restructuring because it will no longer be a promotion for Dan to go to the Blue Jays.

This is how I feel. I still think DD gets the promotion in Baltimore & the only way Angelos would let him leave is if he got a ridiculous return back as compensation.

I thought 2016 was a year the American League hosted the

All Star game.

That was the expectation. Now it seems it will be played in PETCO. That will be 2 NL venues in a row. MLB will give the O's nothing until the law suit is over.

Why wouldn't they just award it to another AL team? Not questioning you. Just doesn't sound right. Has there been an official announcement from MLB?

I've said this before, and I truly believe it is true. Losing the 2016 all star game has nothing to do with Duquette. It is Bud's retaliation for the MASN dispute going to the courts.

I would think MLB wouldn't want to mess up the rotation, but with Selig outgoing maybe he just wouldn't care about that.

I've checked back to 1960 and Mlb has alternated leagues every year since then. Why would AL buy into this?
