Couldn't find a good thread for this, so I just figured to start a new one. Ben Rowen was just released by the Rangers. He's 26, and had a decent relief season in the PCL this past season. He's only received a cup of coffee in the Majors.

Good old minor league slugger Carlos Peguero was designated. Always a good bat to have at AAA and someday he will get a shot and get hot vs ML pitching for a stretch.
