What a great win. DJ was huge but let's not look over the work Bambale Osby did filling in for Gist and Ebekwe when they had foul trouble.

I love watching this team.

NC was unconscious shooting the ball early on but the Terps hung in there a never had a prolonged slump. Great job all around. Can't wait for the tourney!!!

BTW, I can't believe Tyler was actually complaining that he got called for grabbing Gist's(?) jersey and pulling him away from the rebound. That was blantant. He got a away with one on the last play too, but it's all good.

Congrats Terps on a great win...Enjoy it. Maybe we'll see you again 2 weeks from today in Tampa.

This UNC team is beginning to look like a team that is underachieving. To put them in the ACC final is a bit much. They should never have lost 4 games in conference and they have a week coming up when they could easily drop at least one more game.

I had to watch online, why did DJ foul with 9 seconds left??!!

Also, waht happened during the last minute of the game? It went from 89-87 with 43 seconds left to 89-87 with 9 seconds left.

He fouled to keep Wright from getting a good look, I guess. It was going to be a really tough shot for Wright anyway, but I'll forgive DJ considering he played a freaking ridiculous game tonight.

With the way Wright shoots FT, fouling him may have been a better option anyway.

Come on, we have THREE FRESHMAN STARTERS! show me any team in history with three freshman starters that didnt lose 4 games in conference. Give me a break. We shot 3-12 Free throws in the second half, it happens with young players. No big deal. It's tough to win on the road in conference, everyone will tell you that. They may lose in Atlanta too. But we'll see what happens on an even playing field vs the rest of the country. I'll take my chances.

    • I agree Hays is fine to spell Mullins while he figures out how to swing a bat again. I also agree that Hays is disproportionately affected by the wall. If he wasn’t so perpetually dinged up, increasingly expensive and average, he would be an excellent trade candidate.
    • Rubenstein came down the aisle for our section last night during the game tossing out dozens of hats and talking to the fans as he went. Awesome to have an owner that truly loves this team and enjoys being part of the crowd.
    • I  agree that when he swings at strikes, isn’t in perpetual pull mode, and isn’t trying to hit the ball 450 feet, he’s pretty good.
    • He can spell Mullins too. Really nice addition if he can get back to playing like Hayes again. Now, if only we can Mullins going.
    • I think everyone agrees when he’s healthy, he’s pretty good.  But that doesn’t mean he should be starting over Cowser. Maybe against lefties but he’s never been lefty assassin.
    • New Rubenstein updates in the Sun this morning: Rubenstein’s group will soon own 97% of the Orioles.  The prior minority had tag-along rights and almost all have decided to sell (not surprising as change in control is only time you get true market value). It’s not known which minority owners decided to hold on to their shares. Rubenstein reiterated that Elias is the best GM in baseball. Unlike John Angelos, Rubenstein won’t serve as the everyday CEO on the business side.  They are actively recruiting for the role and have retained a search firm. Stadium upgrades could include a modern scoreboard, more premium seating near the field, additional restaurants, and an improved clubhouse. Rubenstein frequently signs autographs with the date and people tell him to stop being such a lawyer.
