You are entitled to your opinion as am I. When you write something, you better be clear otherwise its like a picture being worth a thousand words. It can be viewed in a variety of ways.

I took it as they were making fun of him because they assumed he was wrong on the matter and their thinking was right. Let me.be clear that I don't believe either thinking is right or wrong.

Explain to me what you take from their posts. What does "Gary seems to think it takes 10 batter in a inning to bat around" mean to you?

Because I took it as a slight to Thorne and didnt think it was called.for.

Chill bro. When we batted around today, a couple of us posted an inside joke for the benefit of anyone who read the "batting around" thread. Actually "Gary seems to think..." is just citing Gary as an authority. (There was some debate in the thread as to when announcers typically use the expression). That is not a slight to him at all. This has been explained many times but for some reason you are still upset. Don't be.

There is a thread on the main forum. It has been one of the main threads the last couple days. No one in this thread took offense to someone quoting Gary but you. Basically the post was "Gary is on team 10." and you assumed the negative connotation. And have ignored several explanations.
