That's the season I became an O's fan - emigre from New Yawk, my NY Giants had fled to the left coast nine years before, taking Say Hey with them . I was fresh out of college and eager to work my tail off in our Nation's Capital! Loved my treks to Memorial Stadium and the walk down 33rd St.

I was in high school at the time. A buddy of mine suggested we should go see a World Series game. I told him, "Eh, we'll just go next time". Still waiting.
