It's amazing how inefficient Duquette has been with starting pitching. 30+ million will be tied up in Ubaldo, Gallardo and Miley next year while he traded away Davies and Rodriguez for rental players. Those two would be offering similar if not better production to the likes of Ubaldo, Miley and Gallardo while making up about 1/30 of their total salary.

Erod has been ok in his time in Boston. That and we were close to winning the WS that year, and that move made sense. Davies was just a dumb trade.

Apparently, they are all strikes. This ump is up for a promotion and will probably be working the playoffs and ultimately the World Series.

MLB should do something about awful umps instead of limiting shifts and relief pitchers.

Better than Wiley, Jiminez, Wilson , Wright...but other than those. Yes, he has a groin strain. I wish we were so lucky with Ubaldo or Wiley.

Adam and Chris both swung at the first pitch. Horrible approach. They should be making the pitcher throw strikes and letting the on deck batters see more of what he throws.

The way things are going we won't get a chance to get a good read on McHugh's stuff.

As us ugly as it was, Jimenez has managed to throw 1.33 shutout innings so far.

Perhaps one or 2 more innings before Worley.

I don't know if we see Worley tonight. Depends on the true state of Chris Tillman.
