I was shocked so many posters on this forum approved of the Miley trade. I thought it was obvious from the beginning that the $10 million owed to Miley next year was a huge albatross. Plus it took Worley out of the rotation who should have been given more starts after the Cleveland game.

I think most of us didn't like the trade but didn't figure the O's could do better given the market and the state of the farm system.

Obviously Ubaldo/Wright/Wilson wasn't getting it done and there was a fair chance Miley would be better.

Also, a lot of fans don't worry about future money owed.

ON this I agree DD needs to keep his hands off acquiring pitching OMG he's awful at it.
