Kevin Plank founder of Under Armour

He's the one billionaire that comes to mind for me when I think of Baltimore area Billionaires, but isn't Under Armour in terrible shape right now?  Their stock has plummeted over the last two years.

If the team is sold it's very likely to not be one person buying but an investment group, similar to the current ownership (though Angelos is the largest stakeholder).

I know Angelos spent some time and money consolidating shares.  He has more now than when they bought the team.

I thought Under Armour was having issues?

Depends who you speak with. It's not flourishing no matter who you talk to. And I have some insider info on this so I'm done speaking further.

Most of you are from the area, who’s a viable candidate to buy the O’s?

The Under Armour founder, Kevin Plank, has been rumored to be someone that could front a group.  When his company takes over the MLB jerseys next year, he should be even more flush with cash to help make an offer on the team.

I imagine some others from out of state may be interested as well.
