Let’s say Hanser goes on a bit more of a tear... he has less PAs then the other top qualified players that’s lead in BA. So that means he can have more variation. 

What if he’s leading in BA at the ASB?  Has the qualified BA leader ever not made the AS team? @DrungoHazewood

Only 22Ks though. So he’s hitting like .330 BAPIP, same as Mancini. It’s just a cool story in a crappy season.

It's difficult to hit .318 and still be a below league average offensive player, but Hanser is pulling it off so far.

Reminds me of one of the more underappreciated O's, Gerronimo Berroa. Put up .998 vs LHP during our 1997 run, but didn't have a position. Berroa had more power than Alberto though. 2 big HR of Randy Johnson in the SEA series.
