Im happy for him. Not bitter anyway. Its kind of an ideal situation from an Orioles standpoint. At one time it seemed probable the Yankees were the highest bidder.

Seems like the top free agents money wise will sign with the NL.If Harper signs with the Phillies.The NL East should be the strongest division top to bottom.

The National League certainly have more teams trying to win than the AL.  NL East has four teams making an attempt.  Hard to say that about any other division.

Fans as a whole weren't pumped to see Manny go last year - many just understood the necessity of it. I think it'll be a very positive reception when the Padres come to town.

Hoping that the Padres gamble on their young talent and picking up Manny works well for them.  That's a team I'd like to see get off the scheid as far as World Series titles.  

From what I can see, they need some pitching.
