I just keep telling myself he's just learning and it will pay off later. Hopefully I'm not deluding myself. It'd be fantastic if he could become a decent starter, but really I'd take a reliever, or someone that has a functioning labrum.

He may someday become a decent SP, though I have always thought he should have come into the ML as a reliever first.

I would feel more sorry for the offense who I'm sure feels like they need to score 8 runs to win with him on the mound.

Or you could feel bad for the bullpen who has to work 4-6 innings every game he pitches.

But I wouldn't feel sorry for a guy who was given his opportunity in the bigs to show what he could do and not execute.
