The final category on the right “success ad” is what I saw on my iPhone. What is that?

meanwhile, regarding Chris David...”woof”

Success % added defensively at that position. In other words, a 3% success add would mean he is successful in 3% more plays than the average player at his position.

This didn't get a lot of play so maybe I didn't explain things well in the spread sheet. Let me know if you guys have any other questions.

Was there anyone's performance that you found surprising?

I’m hoping to give it a deeper read this weekend on my laptop.    The chart is very well laid out but a bit hard to read on a mobile device, which is where I initially read it.    Thanks for putting in the work.

Thanks for the feedback on it being hard to read on mobile. I don't read the site very much on mobile so I don't always know what the experience looks like there. I'm also still playing with embedding Spreadsheet onto the site which will enable me to put more interactive content on there.

Nothing much you can do to make it better on mobile than it is.     A mobile screen is only so big, and that chart has a lot of rows and columns.    So I’ll look at it on my laptop when I can.    I have some issues on OH when I use my laptop at work, which is why I use my mobile.   At home I’ll use my laptop if I’m writing something long like the post I wrote about the 99 pitchers who made the 2008-10 BA 100 lists.

Damn, these guys are slow.  Didn't realize Martin was that fast, though.

Alberto is dead last in exit velocity and hard hit %?  I'm assuming I'm not reading that right.

Imagine if Alberto would've won the batting title while also being dead last in those two categories.  Pretty crazy stuff.

Nope, he's the guy that will bear watching the most this year to see if his high xBA is sustainable with such low EV and HH%. Basically he's a master at hitting them were they ain't. The question is, can he do it again?

Answer: no.    But hopefully he won’t fall drastically far.
