Nicky Delmonico, White Sox
Delmonico left Chicago's game against Texas on Friday night after getting hit by a 1-2 pitch from Rangers starter Matt Moore in the second inning. Delmonico was diagnosed with a fracture of the third metacarpal in his right hand and is expected to miss four to six weeks.

Delmonico, 25, was hitting .226/.331/.304 in 36 games.

Atlanta is 27-17.  Their rebuild is coming to fruition.

Flaherty is regressing but he's still OPSing .754 - good for him and I hope he can sustain something close to that.

But you know who is still raking after 200 PA?  Nick Markakis.  .341 average, .935 OPS, 158 OPS+ and 2.2 rWAR.  He is leading the National League in hits and is on pace for over 200.

Mark Reynolds has a 3.000 OPS since being promoted in Washington.  

;)

 

Down to 1.667 now.........poor guy.

Fun fact - so far this year the Nationals have won 100% of their games when Reynolds plays and hits 2 HR.   heh

I know that relievers' stats can be volatile but this is annoying. Aside from his first stint at Norfolk, his MiL stats have been consistent. He gets in five games with the Os last year, doesn't do well and is gone. Weird how effective (sss) he has been against LHers.
