Tracking Ex Oriole Thread

The Yankees just called up former O's reliever Jim Miller, who pitched for the Birds in 2008. The O's got him in the Rodrigo Lopez trade.

I saw Miller pitch several times for the AAA - Tides when they played in Durham, NC in 2008.

I liked what I saw. He actually sat right next to me one time in the 9th inning when I was sitting in the front row, and he was just sitting on the railing, waiting for the game to end.

That can't be easy to do, even if he inherited runners.

Padres transferred LHP Troy Patton from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.

The move cleared a spot on the 40-man roster for Brooks Conrad. Patton doesn't have any structural damage in his shoulder but is in for a long rest and rehab.
