Little surprising. Seems like he would be better off rehabbing with a team than as a free agent. Would think he could negotiate a later opt out date while working out at the alternate site.

Unless he thinks that he can get a major league deal somewhere, why not get better with the O's, pitch a few minor league games and if he's still got it, he will get the call somewhere, with us or someone else.

It's a good thing I am not a betting man. I would have taken Felix over Matt Harvey making the team at the beginning of ST.

Same, my initial guess before spring training was King Felix had the better odds at making the major league roster. One more more reason why I never bet money on sports.

Slightly sorry he got hurt and we didn’t have a chance to see if he’d sharpen up as the spring progressed.    But, he was a longshot in any event.

I hope he doesn't come back on a Major League deal like LeBlanc. I don't want him taking up a 40-man spot when he can't pitch and I'm hoping by the time he is able to pitch guys like Lowther are banging on the door to get a shot.
