When an out is recorded there can’t be an error unless a throw results in runner advancing. The one throw was offline but had no chance. 

According to the radio guys, each could have been but the first throw was late and the second throw pulled the 1B off the bag.

This announcer calls a batted ball a double play ball if that’s the likely outcome. “ And here’s a double  play ball to short....Jones gloves it, throws to smith who spins it to first, IN Time, to get the double play.”

Thats a typical call, so I was expecting a DP.
